BigCommerce Integration case studies

Here at DSYNC we spend time talking to a wide variety of BigCommerce partners, retailers and implementors. We find different examples where businesses have selected best of breed software and would like to connect them all together. In this post we would like to share a few common case studies where we see customers creating efficiencies by making their systems talk to each other. We see common data flows between systems with partners creating efficiencies between systems. View more about BigCommerce here at the BigCommerce blog

First up –About DSYNC…

In a nutshell DSYNC is a platform for connecting systems and APIs. Some of our integrations can take as little as two minutes to set up.  Our secret weapon is we can be used for complex data transformation plus we white-label the solution to BigCommerce partners. DSYNC can be used for bidirectional syncs with BigCommerce. DSYNC has white-label partners now in the US, Denmark, Saudi, Belgium, Aruba, Columbia, Singapore and continue to build out our implementor network. DSYNC is an IPAAS platform (Integration platform as a Service)

What systems are we seeing being connected?

Online ordering

We have seen an increased demand for connecting BigCommerce to Point of Sale systems. DSYNC have partnered with NCR Silver and Revel Systems who both provide great IPAD based POS units. Both POS systems are easy to set up have a vast range of in-built CRM, Inventory, Product and POS features and are an affordable option.

IPAD point of sale devices are trending as they are affordable, scalable, have good API access and can handle the volume. DSYNC is seeing a trend away from traditional legacy-based Point of Sale systems.

How does DSYNC help? DSYNC connects customer, product, inventory, and ORDER data between BigCommerce and the Point of Sale systems. A key data flow would be synchronizing data from the main inventory source with BigCommerce, plus having the ability to pull ORDERS from BigCommerce back into the POS unit.

Inventory Connections

Keeping the right stock and quantity levels when you are selling in multiple channels can be a challenging task. DSYNC partner with inventory platforms such as Unleashed software where we are able to offer customized integrations and special requirements to the partner or the customer.

How does DSYNC help? We work with the partner or the client on the data flows. If something is sold on BigCommerce then it must deduct here and push the order to the right location. We work with our BigCommerce partners as they implement these integration processes with their clients.

Accounting Connections

Keep your book keeper happy by automating your daily sales from multiple systems into accounting software. The three most commonly requested accounting platforms we see are the cloud-based versions of Quickbooks, Xero and MYOB account right.

How does DSYNC help?  Automate sales to accounting by creating a link between your systems. DSYNC can also be used to intuitively map specific fields with our point and click data mapping engine.

BI (Business Intelligence Tool)

Many platforms offer reporting and intelligence tools, however the DSYNC platform enables users to pull in data from multiple systems aggregating custom data into a graphical format.  Our team can help to customize disparate sources and display on a dashboard ready for review.

How does DSYNC help?  DSYNC have an out of the box reporting tool and can customize to your choice of reporting tool.

CRM and ERP integration

Within the commerce space we mostly see customer, contact, product, inventory and order data flowing between systems. As DSYNC is a one to many system customers can make changes in multiple applications and it can be created, updated or deleted in another platform depending on the desired work flow.

Conclusion: “Make your data work for you”

Connect all the best systems together and create efficiencies by controlling your data flows. In todays digital age we have so many choices in applications that perform a specific function. Now we can use API management and IPAAS platforms to enable connectivity between disparate applications.
