FTP Data Feed

The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files between a client and server on a computer network. DSYNC™ platform allows you to configure an FTP(S) connection for both source and destination data points (endpoints). In other words, you are able to configure a job in DSYNC™ which can both pull and push data between two computers using the FTP or FTPS protocol.

Our FTP endpoint can handle files in the following data formats: JSON, XML, XLS, XLSX, CSV or other delimited format, and ODS. The FTP endpoint can be used in conjunction with any other batch endpoint available within the DSYNC™ platform such as API data feed, RSS feed, or email.

Using the FTP endpoint you can take advantage of scheduling – our set and forget feature. You can set an interval in which you pull/push data from and to FTP endpoints. The DSYNC™ platform can notify you via an email when a scheduled job finishes successfully or if there are any errors in data processing.
