JSON Data Feed

logo-api

Our JSON API data feed allows you to configure an API connection for both source and destination data points (endpoints) which means you can both pull and push data between two or more computers. The API endpoint sends and receives data via the HTTP(s) protocol and is usually used to process data in batch – more than one record at a time.

Or build your own connector via our DSYNC SDK documentation

The DSYNC™ API endpoint is fully configurable. You can specify the URL of the required endpoint along with the http method used. Source API endpoint uses GET http method, destination API endpoint allows you to choose between POST, PUSH, PATH, and DELETE. You can also specify optional request headers directly from the API endpoint settings.

Example use case would be a product data feed. Using this endpoint, you can configure a scheduled job which runs in given intervals and pulls product data from one platform (eg. Magento) and pushes it to a preferred destination. API endpoint can be combined with any other batch endpoints available within the DSYNC™ platform such as FTP(S), RSS, or a physical data file.

Using the API endpoint you can take advantage of scheduling – our set and forget feature. You can set an interval in which you pull/push data from and to API endpoints. The DSYNC™ platform can notify you via an email when a scheduled job finishes successfully or if there are any errors in data processing.
